A little bit pricey but really nice views

The views and the pool are really cool. The breakfast is really good. Nice staff.

Not good value for money. The room looks like a cheaper hotel. The sheets and the beed look cheap. A lot of what you pay goes to the views and the pool. The pool is very small for the amount of people that stay in the hotel. There is only room for 6 guests at a time. They organize weddings in the venue and they don’t let you know in advance (noise, limitation of facilities you can use, parking is crowded…). The access to the room is complicated. To get to the elevator you need to go through some steps and carry your bags around.

The view is amazing, truly. From the pool, from the terrace, everywhere! The pool is an amazing. We got a great room after upgrading, very luxurious

They host about every day a wedding or whatever and did not notify us at any time about this. Nor a sorry at the end... You don't hear the partying that much in the room but once you go outside in the evening it's loud... And it's prevents you from walking around or go to the terrace There isn't a bar or something where you can get something to drink.

Wonderful

Amazing location perched above Castellammare del golfo, with sweeping views of the ocean and the ancient town. The infinity pool was exceptional too - perfect temperature and not too busy. The staff were very helpful, letting us store our bags before checkin, and preparing an early breakfast for us to take on an early-morning hike to Zingaro Reserva.

Exellent choice when staying in Castellammare del Golfo!

Very nice place! Especially when you have a car. The view is just stunning! The rooms are very modern and the bed is ( especially for Sicilian standards) very comfy! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. From this location you can tour all that this part of Sicily has to offer and end the day with a superb diner in the beautiful harbor of Castellammare del Golfo.

We liked it all, but i can imagine if you don't have a car it would get a bit cumbersome getting around. It's pretty far up the hill.

This was our best stay in Sicily. The views and the pool were stunning and the staff were very kind

- BEAUTIFUL view, pool and room. - Very friendly staff that made us feel very welcome - modern room with air conditioning, modern architecture - modern bathroom and spacious shower - italian breakfast with nice coffee We spent 10 days in Sicily and travelled to many towns including Taormina and Ortigia. This was the most beautiful hotel we have stayed at on our trip. Location was excellent and a great base to explore the North-West of Sicily (we rented a car) - only 35 mins drive to Palermo Airport, less than 10 mins drive to the main town of Castellammare del Golfo, 15 mins drive to Scopello, 40 mins drive to Erice/Trapani, 40 mins drive to San Vito Lo Capo

We had an excellent stay with minimal issues. This is a fairly new hotel so there is some fine tuning / small improvements that can be done. This was not a problem for us but I will leave some notes and suggestions for the hotel to consider in the future: - hooks in the bathroom to hang towels as the stand kept falling over - bedroom would be better with a TV (with netflix), tea/coffee/kettle - umbrellas/parasoles by the sun loungers as the sun gets very hot in the afternoon - there is no food at the hotel other than the breakfast. The listing on booking.com mentioned room service so we assumed we could order food to our room when we arrived after a long drive but this was not the case. There is a restaurant 5 mins walk away or you drive 10 mins to the main town for all the restaurants so this was no problem. - car parking was difficult when the hotel hosted an event on one of our nights, it would be ideal if there was a small parking area reserved for guests at the hotel only. - other extra things that would improve the hotel in the future: - bar for alcohol/cocktails, spa or gym facilities, food options at the hotel for lunch/dinner/snacks these are recommendations based on my experience at other 4 star hotels/resorts, however we loved our stay here and would recommend to friends!

Great views but hotel that is not sure of it’s identity

Fantastic views and large room and very clean

This property is really an events hotel - Weddings/parties happen at least 2-3 times a week and can be very loud and continue late into the night - there is no provision for a drinks/bar public area also as no tea/coffee facilities within the room you pretty much are stuck for a hot or cold drink outside of breakfast time ! Breakfast a bit limited. You would be better having a car staying here as even thou it’s only about 1.5km walk down to the harbour it is down a busy road with no designated pathway !

The view from our room.

The design of the room felt similar to that of a chain hotel. It wasn’t particularly warm or inviting. Breakfast was served at the corner of a empty catering room and was just adequate.

Beautiful hotel with phenomenal views over Castellammare del Golfo

Such a beautiful hotel with phenomenal views! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, and we arranged an early check-in with no problems due to our flight time. The room was clean and comfortable with generous outdoor space and effective air conditioning. The infinity pool was gorgeous, and we often had the area to ourselves during our September stay. We found our stay incredibly relaxing. We were happy with the breakfast options available - fresh pastries and cakes, at least 2 types of bread, cheese, ham and eggs, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, and tea. Just across the road from the hotel, there's a decent restaurant/pizzeria as well as an excellent food truck serving paninis, street food, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, which you can enjoy while making the most of the fabulous views from the Belvedere viewpoint or nearby picnic area. We used the footpath just near the viewpoint to walk to and from the town centre during daytime hours. However, if you're not particularly confident with negotiating unpaved paths, this might not be for you! We wouldn't recommend walking on the main road into town due to traffic. In the evenings when we wanted to enjoy the many restaurants and bars in Castellammare del Golfo, we prebooked taxis using the online booking form at https://www.taxicastellammare.it We'd love to return in the future!

It would be better if the infinity pool had steps to make getting out easier!

What was the highlight of Hotel Belvedere Resort

Beautiful views and amazing staff!

The location and view were absolutely beautiful, staff was exceptional - kind and attentive. Special mention to Giulia and Vita from the breakfast, they noticed we were having eggs on day 1 and asked how many we would like for the following days as they noticed there weren't enough. They were also very kind in making us coffees outside 'breakfast hours'. Both people at the reception desk were lovely to deal with, we booked for one night only at first...then decided to extend for 2 more nights right after we checked in!

There wasn't too much privacy when in the room as many guests were walking or stopping in front of our room in the communal area. I understand the concept of the hotel being so open but maybe something could be put in place to guarantee privacy from both the other guests and cleaners, maybe a mention of being respectful of other people's space upon check in may be just enough, or tinted windows so that people can't see inside when walking past. We did speak to the receptionist on the day and everything was fine after that.
